Dry Sump
Finally received the Dry Sump this weekend, unfortunately the oil reservoir tank was damaged, so had to go back. Removed the standard sump and oil filter. Fitted using the SBD instructions. Torqued the sump bolts to 10 NM as shown in the Hayabusa service manual.
Fitted oil scavenge pump and had to re use the o ring from the original water pump. Greased all o rings and assembled the scavenge tubes, once the drive shaft was aligned the pump was bolted in to place.
Fitted a new oil filter and the fitted a jubilee band to stop the filter from moving.

Scuttle Panel
Trial fitted the scuttle panel and cut out an access panel for the pedal box. My chassis is non standard so his panel was not cut out at the factory. Will send the dimensions to MNR to get a cover made and powder coated.
Accelerator Dual Cable
Test fitted the accelerator cables with a cable block fitted to the OBP pedal box. Adjusted the position of the block to give a smooth action and full pedal travel when attached to the throttle bodies. Spaced the block with washers to stop the block moving under use as the grub screw provided didn't hold it in place that well.
Brake Pipes Completed
Finished off the brake pipes, re fitted some of the ends with Banjo fittings to reduce the bend radius on a couple of the joints. Clipped and riveted the pipes to the chassis with gaps between clips less than 6 inches. Used 6mm black plastic P clips and 3.5mm black rivets.
