Turbo Rebuild #2 - Collection From Extreme Engines

Collected my engine from Karl at Extreme Engines on Saturday. Really pleased with the work that he has completed. The casings look like new and I'm glad that all of the horrible silver paint has been removed.

It is interesting to see where the material has been removed to balance the crank and the magneto, now I can remove the balancer gear without a worry and save some weight.

The cylinder head looks impressive with flowed ports and cut back valve guides, it looks night and day compared to stock, should flow really well. Need to rebuild the head and lightly grind in the valves.

Will fit the pistons and cylinder when the base gaskets arrive.

The work that was completed was:

Balance the new GEN 2 crank
Balance 24-1 magneto
Fit new crank and full set of bearings (now 1340cc)
Fit new Carrillo rods
Fit the billet output shaft
Replace the worn out middle sifter fork
Undercut second and sixth gears
Fit billet shift rods
Fit heavy duty gear change spring
Fully gas flow cylinder head with stage 2 porting
Clean & shot blast engine casings, cylinder and head to remove silver paint

Karl also provided:
Billet aluminium clutch basket kit
Heavy duty clutch upgrade kit
Uprated cam cap bolt kit
Cylinder spacer & base gaskets 2.8mm
