Aerocatch Final Fit

After practicing with Leon's old bonnet we set about fitting the Aerocatches to my bonnet. This time we used a profiling tool to mark out the notches on the underside of the bonnet.

Next step was to fit the scuttle and the nose cone so that good bonnet alignment was achieved. Bonnet was taped in to place and then holes were cut to allow alignment with the locating pins. Using the template we marked out the outline of the area to be cut, next the hole was cut and finished with the Dremmel.

We then fitted the latches and drilled fixing holes around the latch to allow fixing screws to be bolted in to place. Must say I'm really pleased with the result.
