I installed the snap hook eye fixing for the new harnesses, when I bolted them in position I noticed that the harness would rub against the cog.
I made up a cover in aluminium. First I measured and then cut two pieces to size, I then used the handle from my jack to shape the curve and then bent the straight edge in the vice. Next I drilled some fixing holes and then cleaned the aluminium.
I then powder coated the covers in orange and fixed in place with some black rivets. The results are great, the DIY powder coat kit is coming in handy.
