RPE Engine Refresh #5

Had a ride over to see Karl at Extreme Engines this morning to drop off the head and valves to be washed and bead blasted. While I was there I asked Karl to inspect the pistons and the barrel, the pistons are in good condition but the rings are totally worn out and need replacing, but other than that are fine.

The cylinders were measured and seem to be in good condition, the only issue is that the bores look polished which has been caused by the worn rings. Karl will re hone the cylinders which will resolve this. He is also going to clean the pistons and barrel for me.

I am really pleased about the condition of the pistons and barrel as I had visions of needing a rebore and new pistons.
